	bali apirl 08 song yoga + resort clothing photo shoot after about 10 days in nusa lembongan i left tash towards ubud to meet Valerie Gregori McKenzie, the founder and designer of the French fashion brand SONG, a luxury lifestyle concept inspired by Nature. I met valerie at a class i taught in paris 2 years before. you can find song at many luxury resorts including the maldives and soon saks in nyc. i only put a few photos here as their catalog has not come out yet. www.asiasongdesign.com view gallery
	bali april 08 surfing in nusa lembongan bali where do i begin yoga is everywhere and i experienced it this time in the surf and beaches of nusa lembongan. an island southeast of bali. still part of bali. only a 90 minute public boat ride from sanur. it is definitely the way to go if kuta, legian, and seminyak are a little too vata or populated for you. yoga is everywhere. temples, offerings, rituals, smiling hindus, a melodic language i absolutely love love love it and know that ill be back a few times a year. surfing in nusa lembongan with tash (a yogini from the sunshine coast). view gallery
	sydney body mind life energetic alignment mar 08 always so great to be with my home away from home on the east coast of oz. i was hosted by my friend jared who opened his beautiful home in tamarama to me and a small group of friends for our last night and a combined birthday dinner for him and our friend belinda of broulee surf school. thank you to my hosts nic + phil goodwin of body mind life yoga, ilona brooks + her children, vanessa rudge + michael daly for your wonderful hands on enhancements and assisting, mark breadner who took me out for a surf near cronulla and jo gates who assisted me during the training and shared her family and friends with me on my last night in australia. view gallery
	new york city visit home march 08 so good to be home with family and friends. My favorite memories of this trip to New York City was reconnecting friends together for dinner parties and dancing. Easter Sunday with my entire family. Walking around the city smiling at strangers and taking the time to notice them smiling back. view gallery

	bali jan 08 new years transformational prana flow retreat the rice fields of ubud. this was taken right outside of the yoga barn where we practiced yoga every day. we had such an especially tight group - all of us on our own transformational journeys as we let go of 2007 and welcomed in 2008 with a dance party at Uma and the next day on our yoga mats with all proceeds going to a farmer who lost his harvest because of the rain storms earlier in the week. pictured from left to right front row peter, jen, kadek, jared, meg, bella, twee, charley. 2nd row nicole + jen. 3rd row todd + patrik. back row rajiv + lauren-ji. view gallery
	Somachi Yoga Centre, Prahan, Melbourne, Australia, Oct 2007 Lianne (the founder of Somachi) heard of me through friends in Sydney who she took the Vinyasa Flow teacher training with at the beginning of the year. She emailed me and invited me to teach in Prahan. I was instantly attracted to her studio and more her style because it was developed from her core experience of Tai Chi, Pilates, and Yoga. I knew we had lots to share. And then Nicky (co-owner) and Jim hosted me in their Richmond home and sparks really started to fly. 	Body Mind Life Yoga, Sydney, Australia, Teacher Trainings Feb + Aug 2007 I met Nicole Goodwin when I was assisting my teacher Shiva Rea in LA during the Summer Immersion in Venice 2006. Six months later I moved to Australia, we got in touch, and she invited me to come to Sydney to share more Prana Flow Yoga with her yoga community at Body Mind Life. I was hosted by Nic and her husband Phil. We all surfed at Bondi, and from there a second invitation to teach and all these amazing relationships with my new East Coast yoga friends blossomed.... view gallery
